What’s been happening:

I have graduated with an Associates Science Degree in Nursing from Penn State on May 2008 and obtained experience on the medical Surgical floor where I was responsible for my patients as well as the occasional Charge Nursing role. Now, after 10 months of being on the job, I recently accepted a position as a Registered Nurse Supervisor over LPN's, CNA's and 164 patients. I will be returning to Penn State this summer for classes towards a BSN degree. My goal: Nurse Practitioner. As an older student, I am a role model to my daughters Jennifer, Julie and Joanna. Jennifer graduated from Penn State in May of 2007 with her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree and now does the "traveling" agency type work and is very happy. Julie plans to attend Penn State for nursing as well. My youngest? Well, we'll see. I am also co-owner of my husbands business: "Stevick Roofing & construction". I am extremely Penn State proud. My friends and family know that I didn't just attend college, I attended The Pennsylvania State University.
